Bucket elevators

The bucket elevator consists of a series of buckets mounted on chain or belt operating over head and tail pulleys.
Take-up provides the compensation for variation in length of chain or belt.
The bucket elevator is composed by the head and tail casings and an intermediate casing, that encloses the bucket line.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION
Fertilizer Industries
Steel Plants
Cement Factories
Chemical Industries
Power plants

Elevator type: centrifugal discharge
Bucket elevator with centrifugal discharge operates at a higher speed.
This bucket elevator is generally used for fine or granulated materials with small to medium size lumps; buckets are mounted at spaced intervals to assure good fill at the boot end.
Material is discharged by centrifugal action as the buckets pass over the head pulley.

Elevator type: gravity discharge
Bucket elevator with continuous buckets at slower speed.
Loading is directly into the buckets. As buckets discharge, the material flows over the preceding bucket, whose front and projecting side forms a chute to guide the material into the discharge spout.
It is recommended to lift fragile materials to minimize product degradation.

Belt elevator
Elevator that uses belt with sidewalls and cleats
The belts are designed for horizontal, steep inclined and vertical handling of all kinds of bulk materials.
Materials can be carried in high vertical lift with very high capacities.
Cross rigid base belts can be deflected from the horizontal inclined or vertical and back again without bowing or sagging.
